Rackon Privacy Policy

At Rackon ("Rackon," "we," "our," or "us"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and disclose information when you use the Rackon mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using Rackon, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described herein.
1. Eligibility
- Rackon is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements applicable in their jurisdiction.
- Users must be at least 13 years old or the minimum legal age required in their country of residence.
- Individuals under the age of 18 must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the Services.
- Rackon is not designed for children and does not participate in Google Play's Families Program.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

2.2 Communications Data
Messages and Media
Messages, images, and other media shared through Rackon are retained only while your account remains active. Upon account deletion, such content is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by applicable law or legal obligations.
Voice Calls
Rackon does not record voice calls. To provide calling functionality and maintain service quality, we may temporarily process limited call-related metadata, including:
- Call duration
- Timestamps
- Connection quality metrics
2.3 Device and Usage Information
To operate and improve our Services, we may collect:

- Device model
- Operating system and version
- Application version
- Crash reports and diagnostics
Identifiers
- Advertising ID
- App Instance ID
- Similar device identifiers used for analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, and security purposes
Usage Data
- Anonymous performance logs
- Feature usage statistics
- Stability and reliability metrics
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain Rackon's messaging, photos-sharing, and voice-calling features
- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
- Protect users and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activities
- Improve service performance, reliability, and functionality
- Respond to customer support requests and inquiries
- Deliver important service notifications, updates, and security alerts
- Analyze usage trends and enhance the overall user experience
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Rackon utilizes trusted third-party providers to support certain features and functionality.
These providers may process information on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
Our third-party service providers include:
- Firebase (Google LLC) – Authentication, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting
- AppsFlyer – Installation attribution, campaign measurement, and analytics
- Stream.io – Real-time messaging and voice communication infrastructure
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Rackon does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may also share information with trusted service providers that process data on our behalf to provide authentication, messaging, analytics, notifications, and other Services.

6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provide our Services, and comply with legal obligations.
When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted and disposed of in accordance with industry best practices.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Following a valid deletion request, associated personal data will be removed within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.
9. Permissions Used
Rackon requests certain device permissions only when necessary for functionality.
Camera
- Capture photos
- Share images
- Set profile pictures
- Set group profile image
- Scan QR code
Microphone
- Enable real-time voice calls
- Audio is not recorded
Storage / Media Access
- Send and receive images
Notifications
- Deliver messages and call alerts
Advertising ID
- Support analytics and attribution through AppsFlyer
- Users may reset or limit Advertising ID usage through device settings
Display Over Other Apps (Android Only)
- Display incoming call screens while the app is running in the background
- Not used for monitoring user activity
- Not used for advertising purposes
- Can be enabled or disabled through device settings at any time
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored on servers located outside your country of residence.
Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure personal information remains protected during international transfers.
11. Limitation of Liability
Rackon is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with all devices and networks. Rackon shall not be liable for interruptions, failures, or issues resulting from third-party services or factors beyond our reasonable control.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations.
Material updates may be communicated through the application, website, or other appropriate channels.
Your continued use of Rackon following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

16. Do Not Track Signals
Certain web browsers and devices offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting.
Because there is currently no universally accepted standard governing DNT signals, Rackon does not respond to such signals at this time.
