Where are my messages stored?
Messages are stored only on your device. Rackon's servers don't hold message content — once a message is delivered, it's removed from the server immediately. There's no cloud message archive, no backup copy sitting on an external server, and nothing to be accessed or subpoenaed.
Where is my account data stored?
Account data (such as your verification information) is stored on encrypted secure servers. It's never shared with third parties, sold, or used for any purpose beyond maintaining your account.
How long are deleted messages kept?
Deleted messages are removed permanently and immediately. There's no recovery window and no archive. Once you delete a message, it's gone.
Does Rackon collect my location?
No. Rackon doesn't request or collect location data. The app doesn't have location permissions, and your whereabouts are never tracked.
Does Rackon track my activity?
No. Rackon doesn't track who you message, how often, or when. There are no usage analytics tied to your identity, no behavioral profiles, and no data shared with advertisers.
Can I export my data?
Rackon doesn't offer an automatic data export tool. If you need to preserve specific conversations, the options available are manual — screenshots or copying and pasting content elsewhere.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. Once confirmed, your account and associated data are removed; this action cannot be undone.
Is metadata collected?
Minimal metadata is collected. Rackon doesn't log who you communicate with, how frequently, or at what times — the kinds of communication metadata that many apps collect and retain. What little is logged (such as account creation dates and device information) is kept for security purposes only.
What's considered "metadata"?
In messaging, metadata refers to information about your communications rather than the content itself — who you talk to, when, how often, and from what device. This type of data can reveal a lot about a person's life and relationships even without access to message content. Rackon does not collect conversation metadata.
Are account creation dates logged?
Yes. Account creation date is recorded and retained for security purposes.
Are login timestamps recorded?
Minimally. Login timestamps are recorded in limited form and used solely for account security purposes — not for analytics or behavioral tracking.
How long are login logs kept?
Login logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days, after which they're deleted.
What device information is collected?
Rackon collects minimal device information — specifically, your device type and operating system version. This is used for compatibility and security purposes only.
How long is account data kept after deletion?
Account data is deleted immediately upon your request. There's no waiting period or delayed removal.
Are deleted messages recoverable by Rackon?
No. Rackon doesn't retain copies of deleted messages. Once a message is deleted from your device, it no longer exists anywhere in Rackon's system.
What happens to my data when I delete my account?
All account data associated with your profile is permanently deleted. Messages stored on your device are not affected by account deletion; they remain on your device locally — but your account, verification data, and any server-side information are removed immediately.
Can I recover my deleted account?
No. Account deletion is permanent. There's no recovery option once you've confirmed deletion. If you want to use Rackon again, you'll need to register a new account.
