Rackon Privacy Policy

Here at Rackon ("Rackon," "we," "our," or "us" will be used interchangeably), we consider your privacy to be of paramount importance and as such are focused on safeguarding your personal information. Furthermore, this Privacy Policy will tell you the ways we use, collect, store, process, and disclose information when you make use of the Rackon mobile application and related services (which will be referred to as the "Services").
Through using Rackon, you hereby concede that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described.
1. Eligibility
Rackon is only meant to be for users who will meet the minimum age requirements pertinent to their jurisdiction.
- Users have to be at least 13 years of age or whatever the minimum legal age required in their country of residence.
- Individuals who are under the age of 18 will have to obtain permission from their legal guardians before using the Services.
- Rackon is not intended for children and thus does not take part in Google Play's Families Program.
- Rackon does not deliberately collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
If you create or make use of a Rackon account, we are entitled to collect information that you willingly provide, which would include:

- Username
- Authentication credentials

- Profile picture (optional)
Support Information
When you contact our support team with a question, request, or issue, we collect any information you provide, including:
- Any information which is present in your communications with our support team
- Any feedback, queries, and troubleshooting details
2.2 Communications Data
Messages and Media
We retain messages, images, and other media shared through Rackon as long as your account remains active. Upon deleting your account, this content will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by applicable law or any other legal obligations.
Voice Calls
We do not record voice calls. We may provisionally process limited call-related metadata for the purposes of providing calling functionality and maintenance of service quality.

To operate and improve our Services, we may collect:

- Application version
- Crash reports and diagnostics

- Advertising ID
- App Instance ID
- Similar device identifiers used for analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, and security purposes
Usage Data
- Anonymous performance logs
- Feature usage statistics
- Stability and reliability metrics
3. How We Use Your Information
We utilize the information we collect to:
- Maintain and manage Rackon's messaging, photo-sharing, and voice-calling features
- Generate, verify, and administer user accounts
- Secure users and hinder fraud, abuse and unauthorized activities
- Enhance service functioning and dependability
- Reply to customer support inquiries
- Provide important service notifications, updates, and security alerts
- Assess usage trends and improve the overall user experience
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Rackon makes use of trusted third-party providers for supporting certain features.
These third-party providers process information on our behalf pursuant to their own privacy policies and relevant applicable data protection laws.
Our third-party service providers include:
- Firebase (Google LLC) – Authentication, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting
- AppsFlyer – Installation attribution, campaign measurement, and analytics
- Stream.io – Real-time messaging and voice communication infrastructure
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We reserve the right to share information with trusted third party service providers that will process data in our stead to provide authentication, messaging, analytics, notifications, and other Services. We may share information for the purposes of security, fraud detection and abuse prevention in compliance with legal obligations and lawful requests.
6. Data Retention
We keep possession of personal information as long as required to fulfill legitimate purposes described in this Privacy Policy such as providing our Services and complying with legal obligations.
In accordance with the statement above, we securely delete and dispose of any personal information that is no longer required.
7. Security
We enforce reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational preventative measures for the protection of your personal information against any unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
As no method of information transmission over the internet or electronic storage systems can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we cannot certify invulnerability.

In accordance with jurisdiction and jurisdictional law, you may have the right to:

Following a valid deletion request, associated personal data will be removed within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.
9. Permissions Used
Rackon requests certain device permissions only when necessary for functionality.
Camera
- Capture photos
- Share images
- Set profile pictures
- Set group profile image
- Scan QR code
Microphone
- Enable real-time voice calls
- Audio is not recorded
Storage / Media Access
- Send and receive images
Notifications
- Deliver messages and call alerts
Advertising ID
- Support analytics and attribution through AppsFlyer
- Users may reset or limit Advertising ID usage through device settings
Display Over Other Apps (Android Only)
- Display incoming call screens while the app is running in the background
- Not used for monitoring user activity
- Not used for advertising purposes
- Can be enabled or disabled through device settings at any time
10. International Data Transfers
Personal information we collect may be forwarded to, handled in, and cached on servers that are located outside of your country of residence.
Where required we deploy suitable security measures to make sure personal information will be protected during international transfers.
11. Limitation of Liability
Rackon is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We give no coverage to uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with all devices and networks. In cases of interruptions, failures, issues resulting from third-party services or variables beyond our reasonable control Rackon shall not be held liable.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to intermittently update this Privacy Policy to demonstrate changes in our practices, technology, legal obligations, or business operations.
Material changes will be communicated through the application, website, or other appropriate channels.
Your ongoing usage of Rackon following any change establishes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

15. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Rackon does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA or CPRA.

16. Do Not Track Signals
Certain web browsers and devices offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting.
Due to there being no universally accepted standard governing DNT signals, Rackon does not respond to such signals at this time.
